One-on-one tuition

At home/tutor centre the child gets the time and attention he needs from his ‘teacher’ and can progress at his own pace. This private tuition usually enables children to get a better quality education than might be possible in a school. Some studies have shown that in schools, the smaller the students-teacher ratio, the better the students learn. Among other benefits, the students are helped individually, and teachers ensure that all students master a basic skill or concept before going to a more advanced one. It ensures that genuine learning is taking place. Home schooling is, in effect, one-to-one ratio of teaching. With our small classes your child will get the attention he/she deserves.

Special need and abilities can be catered for

Children with special needs can be accommodated as well as different learning styles or special gifting’s. Home schooling prevents children who are hyperactive or not behaving according to the norm, but otherwise have good intellect, from being unfairly labelled as needing special education.

Tutors are able to assess the Students strength, weaknesses, learning styles and interests.   The children’s education allows to focus on special areas of interest or giftedness.  This makes kids highly motivated to learn, and thus results in kids developing a love for learning.

 No bullies

More and more parents seem to be withdrawing their children from mainstream schools due to bullying. Children who are home schooled are not exposed to teasing, bullying, negative peer pressure, bad influences, and in some cases, bad or even misbehaving teachers.
In a safe, loving environment, children who were once afraid to go to school can learn in peace.

Better socialization

Although many people mistakenly think that home schooled children are cocooned away from the real world, this metaphor is more aptly applied to children within the 4 walls of a classroom. In contrast, home schoolers are free to be out and about in the real world, and research shows that they learn to socialize better with a wide range of age groups, compared with school-going children. They develop self-confidence and can converse meaningfully with adults, in particular, that is always striking.

Home schooled kids tend to think more independently
They are also unlikely to follow the ideas of a group without first making up their own minds. College students who were home schooled express that they feel more mature than their dorm mates, because they know how to think for themselves and aren’t influenced as readily by peer pressure.
